Happy 5th Birthday William!

His birthday isn’t for 5 more days, but we wanted to celebrate before Mama goes on a business trip for 2 weeks!

Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate and to those who sent gifts/cards. He loved everything and said thank you to everyone for the thoughtful gifts.

We spent a lot of time at the new house again today – brought in some plates, utensils, pots and pans. Tim did some work in the basement to seal up some small cracks and the kids played with the 4-wheeler and tube sleds. They had a blast and everyone is exhausted – Hailey came to play again today too!

2014 Southeastern Iowa Youth Honor Choir

On Friday, January 31st, Mackenzie participated in the 2014 Southeastern Iowa Youth Honor Choir. It was a day long event filled with practice, practice, practice and a little more practice! The kids did a fantastic job and were exhausted by the end of the day. Scroll down to watch videos from their performance!

Playing at the New House

Today we spent a lot of time at the new house fixing a few things (new light fixtures), cleaning (kitchen cupboards), and playing outside (4-wheeler sledding). The kids had a great time and Mackenzie even brought a friend!

Our New House

We closed on our new house last night! It is out in the country with 3.67 acres. We have some fixing up to do before we move and want to finish up the school year here, but we plan to spend a lot of time out there until then.
